ABOUT THE CATBOAT

De Catboat is a cat shelter in Amsterdam. But not just any shelter! It is a boat. This boat is placed on the canal in Amsterdam. De Catboat takes in 250 cats every year and helps them to have a better future. These include strays, surrendered and dumped cats. Here they are fed, chipped and neutered. When the cats are better again, they will be open for adoption, so the Catboat helps thousands of cats have a loving future!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

The Catboat works with volunteers who love working with cats. The shelter receives no funds from the government so they live of donations. This is how they pay for the food, medication and castrations. In this way they help stray cats to have a good life again and live a healthy life.
